Ave Maria

Some prayers are spoken.  Others are simply lived.

Ave Maria is a visual meditation on grace, humility, and quiet faith. Rather than illustrating the prayer, these two works invite the viewer into a place of stillness, where light becomes a symbol of hope and silence becomes a form of worship.

The first piece reflects presence. Bathed in gentle light, a solitary figure stands in quiet surrender, reminding us that faith is often found not in certainty, but in trust.

The second reflects remembrance. The figure is gone, leaving only a white lily resting in the same light – a symbol of purity, devotion, and the enduring presence of grace. Sometimes what remains speaks more deeply than what is seen.
